What is great about the book is that it is so easy and straight forward. I would recommend it for anyone who is involved in a business and wants some good pointers they may have missed in other books.

Summary: Nothing new, like marketing 101.
Comment: Very basic information and I found very little value to it. Out of the 183 pages of the book, there seemed to be about 40 blank or title pages. The jacket of the book was more dynamic than the content. Basically all fluff.

Comment: This book is a very easy read and is the ultimate blueprint for creating a business that is successful and authentic based on you. Most people don't realize the value on expressing their individuality when creating their business. Celebrity Branding You shows you all the steps you need to take to build a business brand based on the most valuable person in your business, YOU. After reading most business books out there I would highly recommend this book for its content and valuable resources.

Summary: "Beyond the Scope of this Book!"
Comment: When you read this book -- while it has a few nuggets of good info -- it becomes obvious that it's designed to drive you to their website and get backended with all kinds of other products and services.

That makes the book feel more like one of those internet marketing "special free reports" instead of a solid, encompassing work in which the authors really want to share their insights. And it's almost as long as a special report too: 4 pages in between sections is just a little excessive. I got through the thing in a short plane ride.

I always feel duped when a book is merely a marketing tool to get you to fork over more money, and especially when the authors tell me in multiple sections that the information they were going to reveal is actually "beyond the scope of this book." Gimme a break...

My recommendation is to wait for these two guys to "repurpose" this book in a free special PDF report that you can download from one of their websites.

Comment: If you have any branding books written lately, then you don't need this one. It's the same stuff that everyone else is writing about. If you don't have one, it's a good start. I am not saying the strategies don't work. I am just saying it's nothing new.
