Paris Hilton mugshotParis Hilton was sent back to jail and ordered to serve her full sentence on Friday, a day after the sheriff granted her home imprisonment. Latest is the heiress will not appeal the case and is hoping “others will learn from my mistake.”

Now Paris claim jail has changed her a lot and she promises she will no longer ‘act dumb’ when she gets out.

The reality TV star and relentless publicity-seeker spoke with Barbara Walters by phone Sunday, a day after releasing a statement saying she hoped the media would focus on “more important things” than her 45-day jail sentence, according to ABC News’ Web site.

“I used to act dumb. … That act is no longer cute,” ABC quoted Hilton as saying.

Paris further added that she is changed by her jailhouse experience, and she repeated that theme with Walters: “Now, I would like to make a difference. … God has given me this new chance.”

And the Paris saga continues….

Paris Gets Out of Jail But Ordered Back In Court

Paris HiltonWe knew it was too good to be true! Convicted drunk driving socialite Paris Hilton was released from jail after only three days and will be completing her sentence under house arrest in her luxurious Spanish style villa in Beverly Hills.

Hilton will be under home confinement, wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet, for the remaining 40 days of her sentence for violating probation in a reckless driving case.

The celebrity inmate was sent home from the L.A. County jail’s Lynwood lockup shortly after 2 a.m., a stunning reduction to a sentence that already had been cut from 45 to 23 days because of “good behavior.” Another two days were lopped off the original 45 since she checked in late Sunday and left early Thursday, earning credit for five days served.

Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore gave no information on the nature of Hilton’s medical condition and refused to answer questions about whether it was physical or psychological.

“I can’t specifically talk about the medical situation other than to say that yes, it played a part in this,” Whitmore said.

The move has outraged city officials, jail guards, fellow inmates and basically the whole nation that a judge is ordering Hilton to appear in court on Friday to determine if she should stay out of jail.

Responding to a motion filed by the city attorney’s office, which prosecuted Hilton, Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered Hilton to appear for a 9 a.m. hearing regarding her early release.

Apparently the city attorney’s office was not informed of the planned release which was accomplished early dawn to avoid being noticed by the media and prison workers. We smell something stinking!

Paris Hilton In Jail: Day 2

Filed Under Celebrity Blunders | Leave a Comment

Paris Hilton mugshotParis Hilton was reportedly doing well after spending her first night of her probation sentence in solitary confinement at a Los Angeles County jail, her lawyer said Monday. The heiress entered the prison on Sunday night after attenting the MTV Movie Awards.

Meanwhile, TMZ website is collecting vital information about how Paris spends her 23-day jail sentence. It described the celebutant as “scared” “crying” and “freezing”:

“Paris has been crying on the phone, saying she’s not sleeping or eating. Paris says her cell is “freezing cold.” She has three little blankets and no pillow. She’s using one of the blankets as a pillow. The room is bright and jail noise echoes through her space.

“Sleep isn’t the only problem. Paris says she has no appetite and has eaten almost nothing.

“She’s called her lawyer and family, but found it really hard to talk because there’s a recording, “You have one minute left. This call is being recorded.”

The site also reported that inmates had been “nice” to Paris unlike previously reported that they’re angry at the seemingly special treatment Paris got even before going to jail.

LA Inmates Already Mad At Paris

Paris Hilton goes to jailParis Hilton is about to serve her full (rather half of it) jail term in less than 24 hours. But reports say that her future inmates at Lynwood County Jail is already irked at the special attention the heiress is getting from authorities.

Susannah Johnson, who was released Saturday after a one-day stay at the jail, said inmates were angry at Hilton, believing officials were making room for the starlet at the expense of other inmates already coping with crowded conditions in the 2,200-bed jail.

The only advice I could give her when she comes is to shut her mouth and do the time,” said Johnson, 35, of Claremont.

Meanwhile, photographers, reporters and television crews staked out positions at three entrances to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood. Authorities had also cordoned off a grassy area outside the jail for members of the media.

Officers arrested Hilton in Hollywood on Sept. 7. In January, she pleaded no contest to the reckless-driving charge and was sentenced to 36 months’ probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

She was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol on Jan. 15. Officers informed Hilton she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging she was not to drive. She was pulled over again by sheriff’s deputies Feb. 27 and was charged with violating her probation.

Paris was originally sentenced to 45 days in prison, but jail officials cut it off to 23 days citing “good behavior”.

Paris Hilton Goes To Jail: The Countdown

Filed Under Celebrity Blunders, Gossips | Leave a Comment

Paris HiltonThe countdown is on as Paris Hilton prepares to serve her full jail sentence minus her glamorous makeups, jewelries and dresses that barely covers her semi-precious triangle.

The 26-year-old heiress has until 11:59 p.m. on June 5 to report to the Century Regional Detention Facility to start serving time for violating her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

A judge sentenced Hilton to 45 days behind bars, but Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said “she will do about 23 days,” due to “good behavior“. She may choose to report early, or at an odd hour, to try to avoid media attention

And despite speculations that Paris may be allowed to be released early, he said there’s no chance Hilton will be released early due to overcrowding, as actress Michelle Rodriguez was in May 2006, when she served less than one day of a 60-day sentence at the same county jail.

Hilton will be housed in the facility’s “special needs” unit, where she “very well may not” have a roommate, Whitmore said.

Like other inmates in the special-needs area, she will take her meals in her cell and will be allowed outside the 12-foot-by-8-foot space for at least an hour each day to shower, watch TV in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone. She will have to use a public pay phone as cell phones and BlackBerrys aren’t allowed.

Hilton must come empty-handed to the jail, Whitmore said. Once she’s booked into custody, she’ll have to surrender her clothing and jewelry in exchange for the requisite orange jumpsuit.

She will also get the same standard-issue kit all incoming inmates at the 2,200-bed facility receive: a toothbrush, tube of toothpaste, soap, a comb, deodorant, shampoo and shaving implements, along with a jail-issued pencil, stationery, envelopes and stamps.

If Hilton wants to prettify herself in her cell’s polished-metal mirror, she can buy a compact, eye shadow, an eyebrow pencil and package of hair coloring from the jail commissary, where she can draw from a prepaid account.

And when she come out, expect the sleazy tabloids to bid millions for a Paris tell-all.
